Most owners don’t lose money in one big leak.
They lose it in small ones, every week, in places that are hard to spot, especially when you don’t have time to look. Before we talk about a plan, here are the leaks we see most often.
Time
Manual work that eats your day.
The same questions answered by hand. Quotes typed out manually. Follow-ups you meant to send but never did. Work a tool could handle while you're with a customer.
Missed work
Jobs lost because you weren't the first to answer.
A call you couldn't pick up. A quote that landed two days late. The customer couldn't wait.
Falling behind
The shop down the street already started.
If you're not moving your business forward, a competitor is. Every month you wait, the gap gets a little wider.
Four fixes owners ask for most.
Named in plain language, not tool names. Each one is a problem the audit can quantify and rank against the rest.
No missed calls
When the phone rings and no one can grab it, an app answers by text or voice, books the appointment, or even sends a quote. A missed call stops meaning a missed job.
Quotes out the same day
A quote that takes three days loses to the one that showed up in minutes. Often the quote that lands in minutes wins the job, even if the price is a little higher.
Get found on Google
You can be doing great work, but if a new customer can't find you on Google, that job goes to a competitor. Keep your profile current, answered, and reviewed without it becoming another chore.
Past customers who come back
The customers you already did good work for should be your base. A lot of work runs in cycles. Keep that relationship going automatically, so repeat work stops depending on luck.
These are the most common ones. The audit’s job is to find the ones costing your business the most in time and money, even if they aren’t these.
Curious about AI but would rather spend your time running your business?
Hi, I’m Jorge.
Adobe Marketing Strategy Leader by day. AI audit guide for SMB owners by night. A graduate of Dartmouth and the University of Chicago.
Why we do this
Every owner is building something that lasts: something that creates jobs and becomes a business for their family and their community. The audit exists for owners who care about growing that business but often don’t have the resources or the time.
I bring a specific lens to the work. First-gen Colombian-American. Grew up in communities where small businesses were the backbone, and where my family worked in and around them. AI can change the math for businesses like yours. Most owners are too busy running them day to day to keep up with which tools matter and which don’t. The audit fills that gap, for any owner trying to build something that lasts.
What you get
A written plan you can act on. Same shape for every owner. Zero vendor bias, because we don’t take affiliate dollars.
See what’s in the plan →How the audit works.
60 minutes. One plan. Vendor-agnostic recommendations ranked by effort and impact. No upsell to a tool we sell, because we don’t sell one.
- 1
60-minute call
We talk about how your business actually runs and where time goes. EN or ES.
- 2
Recommendations plan
Within 48 hours, a list of your 3 biggest problems, each with a recommended fix, plus an estimate of the financial impact.
- 3
Bilingual plan
The plan reads in English or Spanish. Same quality either way.
Implementation is scoped separately. Custom scope. We talk about it on the call if it fits your situation.
Who this is built for.
Restaurants. Trades and field crews. Clinics with front-desk work. Gyms and studios. Retail with hourly staff. Family-run multi-location operations. The wrong fit can opt out below before we both spend 30 minutes finding out.
Built for
- Owner-led service businesses, $1M–$5M in revenue.
- Teams of 3 to 50, in office or in the field.
- Brick-and-mortar, multi-location, family-run, or hybrid (some online, some in person).
- Spanish- or English-led operations. Often both.
- Owners who tried tools before and got burned.
Probably not for
- Pure DTC at scale already running a full AI marketing stack. You’d outrun me.
- PHI-touching healthcare work without a signed BAA in place. Front-office workflow (scheduling, recall, insurance follow-up) that doesn’t expose patient records, happy to scope.
- Pre-revenue or pre-launch. Recommendations are for businesses already operating.
- Hourly billing arrangements. We quote fixed scope.
- Looking for marketing creative or content production. Different practice.
The questions owners ask first.
The honest ones, answered straight. If yours isn’t here, ask on the call.
Can't I just use ChatGPT myself?
You can, and for some things you should. The value isn't access to AI, it's knowing which three things are worth your time and which thirty aren't. Same reason you keep a bookkeeper when accounting software exists. We hand you the shortlist so you skip the months of trying tools that don't fit.
My nephew is good with computers. Can't he set this up?
Maybe he can build it. The audit is about what to build first and whether it pays off, not the typing. Hand him the plan and he'll move faster with it than without it. That's a good outcome, not a lost one.
Is my data safe? Is any of this legal?
Yes. Your audit call and anything you share stays private, processed only with tools we control, and deleted after we send the plan. Never sold, never used to train AI models. If you have a stricter requirement, tell us on the intro call and we'll work to it.
What if my systems are a mess?
That's the normal starting point, not a problem. Messy is what most owners walk in with. The audit meets you where you are and the plan starts from there. You don't need to clean anything up before we talk.
